What counts as an electrical emergency?
- Burning smell or visible smoke from outlets, switches, or panels – shut off main breaker and call us

What to do while you wait
- If anything is smoking or sparking, shut off the main breaker at your panel.
- Unplug nearby appliances on the affected circuit.
- Do not touch anything that’s been in contact with water until power is verified off.
- Keep pets and children away from the area.
- If there’s actual fire, call 911 first, then us.
